RSS Player For MiTVs and Other Chinese made TVs
RSS Player has been a very popular apps for smart TVs and Handphone among the Asians because it allows the users to watch Hong Kong, US and Korean Dramas and also their News free of charge; however, many users of the Chinese made TVs especially MiTV cannot use RSS player because it requires the presence of Google Play apps. This article will try to share the 2 APKs that have been found to work successfully for MiTV4. It should work for other Chinese made TVs.
What are the Apks?
1. RSS Player_v1.2.1 MiTV.apk
2. RSS Player Android TV_v1.0.0 MiTV.apk
Apparently, the 2 apps have been modded to get rid of the restrictions.
How to Populate the Channels?

2. Starting up | Find and click the icons in the Apps store, the [Home] screen on the right will pop up | 1. For the v1.2.1 the following screen will show
If the 3 bars on the top left hand corner is pressed, it will pull down the side bar, showing also + sign on the top right hand corne.

3. Populate with Channels | Click the + sign on the top right hand corner and enter the name and the address e.g. icDrama and http://allrss.se/dramas |

4. Watching the Videos | Click [Home] tab when completed and the screen will change as show on the left Click the [icDrama] tab, one would be greeted by the various video tabs as shown |

5. The Popular Tab | 1. Tapping this [Popular] tab will show the defaulted podcast channels for download and viewing. |

Difference Between V1.2.1 and Android TV version
V.1.2.1 appears to be a better version as it will allow default podcast channels to be shown. The Android TV version has get rid of the advertisement but this suppresses also the default podcast channels
Hi, firstly I wish to thank you for this awesome app.
ReplyDeleteAfter installation everything work fine, except we cannot add favour as the favour “star sign” is not display. Anyway to rectify this?
